Held every year, Breast Health Day aims to disseminate information concerning breast health and raise awareness of prevention and early detection of breast cancer among women and girls.
This year’s theme is Make Good Choices For Your Breast Health Every Day.
Engaging in physical activity, maintaining a normal body weight and eating a healthy diet are important lifestyle factors that can affect breast cancer risk. What you choose to do today and every day can influence your future breast health.
So, what will you choose for your breast health? Visit www.breasthealthday.org to share your personal message in our tag cloud.
We also invite you to organise your own local event, big or small, on the 15th October. Walking is one of the simplest and easiest to organise, but any form of enjoyable physical activity – cycling, dancing, even hula hooping – will help get the message across that exercise is fun and good for you too! No fundraising is involved. It’s an awareness-raising day and we will supply posters and leaflets. To take part, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
